Thankful for:

We're home. 

Matt is in bed and resting. 

We were home in time for Matt to watch the caps game. 

Seinfeld. 

Seeing Addy and Tobin and hugging and kissing them. 

Being home to be able to wake them up tomorrow and make their lunches. 

Higbee was very happy to see us, but he was very gentle and ginger with Matt. How do dogs know what they know? It was incredible to watch Higbee inch closer and closer to Matt on the bed very slowly and kiss him just once. 

Yogurt with blueberries and granola for dinner for me. Toast, applesauce, and crackers for Matt. 

The feeling of a hot shower after the hospital. 

The feeling of being in our own bed. 

Being back in the forest. 

Matt's mom made dinner for Tobin. 

My mom picked up Adelyn. 

Matt is done with surgery.

Thankful for: 

Matt is now resting comfortably and sleeping. 

His surgery was successful today. 

There are so many people who love us and support us.
