Amazing Monday.

Day 3,131

Thankful for: 

A good workout early this morning with Addy. 

Lifting heavy weights and doing the elliptical machine and sweating. 

A shower after the gym. 

My lunch was made the night before and was ready to go this morning. 

A good day at work. 

Beautiful pictures to hang up in my new office. 

Lunch with my friend, Heidi. 

A delicious salad. 

Getting work done. Making lists. Making progress. Learning things. 

Texts from my friend. 

Patty and Armando and the kids arrived safely at their destination. 

Deer.

Higbee. He loves for me to play with him. 

A good dinner. Salad, chicken, and potatoes. 

I'm going to do one organizing task a day. Today, I organized a cabinet, and threw away one while bag of trash. Feels good to declutter. 

The night sky. 

Addy leaned her head on my shoulder. Cuddling with my girl always makes me feel happy. 

Little talks with Tobin. 

Time to sleep.

Thankful for: 

Rain. 

Thunder in the distance. When thunder is in the distance, it feels peaceful. 

Hugs from Tobin. 

Higbee really loves me. It nice to be loved so much by a sweet pup. 

Time with my sister. I needed time with her. 

A new shirt. 

Strawberry Waterloo. It's the best. 

A new week starting tomorrow. 

My lunch is prepped for tomorrow. I can't wait to eat my delicious salad. 

Plans to go to the gym tomorrow morning before work. 

New pictures for my office. 

A pretty parking lot sunset. 

I got little the yogurt bites and cookies I used to get for my kids when they were babies. Patty and I nibbled on those little delicious treats in the car while we talked. I miss those years with my kids terribly. They were simple times, and things are not so simple now. 

I turned over a little beetle that was on its back in my garage. Then I moved him to the garden. I'm always reminded of this quote when I see insects in the house.

The gym with Adelyn. Lifting weights. 

Addy got to go to a quinceanera tonight. She looked beautiful. 

A family dinner with Patty's family, my mom and dad, and Shane's family. Good food, lots of laughter, and fun. 

Rainy day tea party.

Help from my mom and Patty. 

A tea party for the administration team. 

Time to talk and laugh. 

Time to talk through things for school. 

A clean house. 

Pizza for dinner. 

Addy has a friend over to spend the night.

Thankful for: 

A really great day. 

A good dentist appointments for my kids. 

A trip to Barnes and Noble. I love letting Addy and Tobin pick out books. We also got coffee and pastries. 

I got my office organized. 

I got some good work done. I'm feeling much more ready to tackle things tomorrow and next week.

Purple and yellow flowers gifted to me on my first day as principal. 

Got a bunch of things done today. 

Higbee feeling better after the storm. 

God protected our home and our family in the storm today.

Today was Matt's first day back to work.

A good last day with Melissa. Melissa treated me to Panera for lunch. It was delicious. 

Addy and Tobin got to go to the pool today with Patty, her kids, and their friend. 

A good appointment.

Higbee follows me everywhere I go. 

First day back to work.

Watching Matt climb with Addy and Tobin and knowing they are safe with him.
