A new mini shelf for the library. It's looking so cozy in there. 

Getting to see my family finally. It was really good to see them. 

Celebrating Phia's 13th birthday, Remy's 1st birthday, and Christmas together. 

Cake and ice cream. 

Watching Stranger Things with my family.

Beautiful winter light. 

A new piece of furniture for my library. This room is so cozy now. I love to be in here. 

A cute town. A bright day. Blue sky.

Thankful for: 

A good day at home. 

Time to rest and recover and be still. 

No schedule or agenda. 

Completing little tiny almost meaningless projects at home, but they bring me joy. 

Addy had a friend over to spend the night. 

Pizza for dinner. 

I watched a good movie I had been wanting to watch. 

Clean bedsheets. 

The forest. 

I saved a little spider in my bathroom. I don't know why, but he seemed so thankful. 

Bagels, naps, laughter.

A nice morning. Matt and I laid in bed and talked for a while. 

Going to get bagels from Weirdoughs with Matt. 

Delicious bagel sandwiches. 

A long nap in the middle of the day. 

Organizing and cleaning little spaces in the house. 

Time to hang out and talk with Matt, Addy, and Tobin. 

Leftovers for dinner. 

Playing games after dinner. 

Laughing together. 

Plans to go shopping tomorrow. 

Cold air today. 

A nice walk with Matt.

Picking little spots to organize in the house. 

Getting rid of things I don't need. 

Sleeping in and going to bed early.

A beautiful Christmas with my amazing family. 

Laughter. Tears. Hugs. Making up. The knowledge that whatever happens, Matt will always love me. 

Beautiful, thoughtful, kind gifts from Matt. 

Adelyn and Tobin had a great Christmas. They were both very happy. 

A nice breakfast: sausage and French toast. 

A good, long talk with Adelyn. 

Adelyn and Tobin playing and having fun together. 

A nice Christmas dinner: roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and green beans. 

Time to relax and be still. 

So many beautiful birds today: robins, cardinals, pileated woodpeckers, red-headed woodpeckers, and more.

Watching Christmas movies today. Addy, Tobin and I watched The Family Stone and Miracle on 34th Street.
