Sourdough discard pancakes.

Remembering a sweet person we knew. We went to her viewing today. 

Bozzeli Deli for dinner. It was the best steak and cheese sub I've ever had. 

Addy's friend came over for a sleepover.

Thankful for: 

A good workout this morning. 

I got to work from home today. 

I got a lot accomplished today. 

The smell of bread rising in my kitchen. 

The sound of fresh baked bread crackling as it cools on the counter. 

Friends. 

Tomorrow is Friday. 

Family. 

My sister and my mom who have been helping me with Addy and Tobin. 

My dad's, Higbee's, Matt's, River's, and Addy's birthday coming up in August. 

I like the way it feels on my tongue when I say August. Probably because it's the last month before the "ber" months arrive. The "ber" months are my favorite holiday. 

A good meeting tonight. 

Being able to see the Milky Way from my backyard. I live in a magical and enchanted wood. Some days I wake up to see rabbits and deer eating clover together in my backyard. Some nights, I can see the Milky Way. I firmly believe that this forest is holy ground. 

Matt gets to be home today. 

I got Higbee some treats to put in his food at the store today. I hope he likes them and starts eating well again.

A good workout this morning. 

A good, productive day at work. 

Doing fun things like putting together a bulletin board for our house points. 

Leftovers for dinner. 

Sunlight coming through the trees on our walk. It makes everything dreamy. Like summer days when I was young. 

Higbee being happy to see me. 

Matt being happy to see me. 

A phone call and a prayer today with Addy. 

A hug and a kiss from Tobin. 

Bread rising in my kitchen. 

Being able to work from home tomorrow. 

Family. 

Phone calls. 

Getting to see baby Alaina on a phone call. 

Talking to friends. 

A very good iced americano. 

Our comfortable home.

A good morning workout. 

Time to talk with Addy. We have good conversations. 

Being able to stay consistent. 

A good, productive day at work. 

A walk and talk with Tobin. When I walk with Tobin, he always holds my hand. 

Tobin helped me make dinner. I love cooking with my kids. 

A delicious salad. Tobin made it look pretty. 

A fun impromptu game after dinner. We saw who could spin Matt's ring the longest. 

A good appointment. 

A pretty evening. 

Lightning bugs. 

The setting sun and green glowing leaves. 

Birds. Family. Laughter.

Thankful for:

Being able to help a bird this morning. 

A good workout. 

Getting stuff done at work. 

My job. I love it. 

Fun things delivered to school today. 

My kids went with my mom and Patty to my aunt's house today. It was nice to do something fun after work like visit with family. 

Laughter. 

Telling stories.

Getting to see Bia and Scarlett. 

Baby birds in their nest.

A quiet ride home. I like it when my kids fall asleep in the car. It's peaceful to be with people who are sleeping. 

Tacos for dinner. 

Playing with Higbee. The way he smells. 

A clean kitchen. 

A new day tomorrow.

A good church service. 

Time with my mom and the kids after church. 

Starbucks. I love the flavor of bitter coffee and creamy cream. 

Matt is a good husband. 

Matt helped me clean today. 

We had a family dinner. 

I got to hold Aidan and Remy today. 

I love holding babies. 

Good food. 

Laughter. 

Dirty, muddy feet and toes. 

Sweaty kids. 

The busyness of the house while everyone is here. 

The quiet in the house when everyone leaves. 

A new, fresh week ahead. 

The way my house looks when all the candles are lit.
