Thankful for: 

Checking things off my to-do list at school.

A potluck lunch tomorrow at work. 

Bread rising in my kitchen. I'm bringing bread and chicken soup to the potluck. 

Tacos for dinner. 

Friends who check in on me. 

Laughing with my family. 

Talking with Adelyn. 

Talking with Tobin. 

A fun weekend coming up soon. 

Matt and I have fun costumes for our Halloween party. 

Tomorrow is Thursday. 

Time to sleep all night. 

I brought Higbee's ashes home today. It was sad to pick him up that way, but it feels better to have him here at home than somewhere else. 

Pawprints, nose prints, and a clay pay print came home with his ashes. 

A busy day means we have full lives.

     It was a good day. It was filled with many October things-pumpkins everywhere, falling leaves, leaves glowing red, yellow, orange, and faint green in the sunlight, cool temperatures, and a Halloween party this weekend. 

     I got to talk to Melissa this morning, have lunch with Patty, and I got texts from Heidi. I had a sandwich for lunch from Panera. It may sound weird, but Panera is my favorite restaurant. Soup, sandwiches, salad, breads, and pastries- what's not to love? If I could open up a little shop, it would be sandwiches, soup, bread, salad, pastries, coffee, and tea. I love that there are delicious things to eat in the world. 

     I got to go grocery shopping, and then costume shopping with Addy and Tobin . We each got the costumes we wanted. I'm trying to get over the fact that Tobin wanted to dress scary, and Addy wanted to dress in a hot girl Halloween way. My babies are growing so fast it hurts my heart. I was thankful to be with them today. 

     I am thankful for fresh, delicious food from the store. For time with family. For fun things like Halloween. For time with Matt. For time to sleep. For a new day tomorrow. For the most beautiful fall.

An equally relaxing and productive Sunday. 

We finished our new, improved toy room/guest bedroom. Now, we just have to add the bed and the dresser from Tobin's old room, and finish Tobin's room upgrade.
