Thankful for:
A good workout this morning.
The way the sun looked this morning shining on our big crape myrtle tree.
Getting things done at work.
Getting to purchase fun things for the teacher work week.
Preparing for all the little ones to come next month.
Seeing teachers excited about the upcoming year. It's refreshing.
Texts from Matt.
My kids got to do something fun today.
Matt is off work tomorrow.
There were no storms today.
Tomorrow is Friday. I'm very excited to sleep in on Saturday.
The smell of sourdough.
I'm going to bake this weekend. I'm making sourdough for some friends, some for us, and popovers. I cannot wait to eat a popover with butter and strawberry preserves.
An easy dinner of turkey hot dogs, mustard, and the best pickle relish. I could eat it by the spoonful.
Time to sleep.
