Friday at the beach

Day 280

     It was windy today. It was so windy that even the sound had waves. We spent the whole day in the water. It's always a good feeling to spend all day in the water. My dad did a fish fry for dinner. But because he loves me so much, he got chicken to fry up for me first before the fish was fried in the oil. We watched movies. There was a big lightning storm. There was an amazing sunset. It was a fine day.


Thankful.

Day 279

This day was lovely.

There was a delicious breakfast.

There was blue sky.

We went to a lighthouse.

We had ice cream.

We went swimming.

We walked in the sand.

We played Clue.

There was laughter.

I took pictures.

Day 278

We had bacon and eggs for breakfast. Bacon and eggs are the two best breakfast foods. Fact.

We went to the sound, and spent the day finding hermit crabs and little fish. Matt bought an inflatable kayak. It was super fun, and the kids enjoyed themselves.

We watched Moana.

We had a delicious dinner.

We sat on the deck.

We went out to ice cream. My dad got ice cream for everyone.

We watched Heavyweights.

It was a fine day.

Day 277

There was a big breakfast this morning.

There was a stormy morning and a movie.

There was the beach.

There were sea birds.

There was the pool.

There was a delicious dinner.

There were fireworks on the beach.

There was a card game.

There were tears and hugs and love.

Day 276

Tobin came in and cuddled with me very early this morning. I love to cuddle with my babes.

We went to the sound and swam and played.

We had a delicious dinner.

We played Clue after the kids went to bed.

The sunset was cloudy but beautiful.

I'm so happy to be here at the beach with my family.

Thankful for wide open sky space, for the way the water sparkles, and for the wind on my skin. It was a good day with the ones I love.

Day 275

This day was lovely. 

We drove to the beach. 

We ate lunch at Bro's. 

We played in the pool. 

We walked on the pier. 

We watched an awesome storm roll in. 

Our hair got salty and beachy. 

My parents cooked a delicious dinner. 

We ate ice cream on the deck. 

We played a game. 

We watched The Three Amigoes. 

Looking forward to an amazing week with my family. 

So very thankful for this place and the people I love.

Day 274

Thankful for my parents and AJ who have spent all day helping us get our house ready to get on the market.

Thankful for deep belly laughs.

Thankful for a new bathroom. Thanks to my dad and AJ.

Thankful that Higbee was happy when I left him yesterday.

Thankful for new beach chairs.

Thankful for a very clean home waiting to be looked at.

Thankful that this time tomorrow, I will be at the beach.
