Day 505

     Today was lovely. So many sweet treats and expressions of love. Valentine's Day is always a good day at school. Thankful for my family and our dog and the hope of a future home together. Thankful for the in between places too. The in between places are always the stuff dreams are made. 

     Thankful for God's good plans.

time to sit in bed and write.

time to relax.

a special day tomorrow.

God's blessings. I don't deserve them. But God gives them anyways.

     Today was a hard day. But there were trees. There were clouds. There was chocolate. There was kissing. There was cake. There was ice cream. There is my bed.

It's bedtime.

Today was good.

I'm so thankful to lay in bed and relax.

Day 501

     Tonight was the Father Daughter Dance at our school. I think it went well and the little girls had a good time.

     Patty and I went out to dinner afterwards. It was so good to go out with her and laugh and eat good food.

     I cannot wait to go to bed. 

     Thankful for dances, and late dinners, and bedtime.

Day 500

      Thankful for 500 days of life. Thankful for 500 days of thankfulness. I'm halfway to my goal of 1,000 days of thankfulness. This journey has been amazing and life transforming. The act of giving thanks always is.

     Thankful for a date night with Matt tonight. On February 15, we will have been together 18 years. We started dating when we were 17. Thankful for my man. Thankful for our life together.

     Thankful for good gifts from God.

Day 499

     Thankful for a good Thursday. Thankful that tomorrow is Friday. Tomorrow is also my 500th day out of 1,000 days of thankfulness. In 500 days, so much has changed for the better. In 500 days, God has transformed my heart and my mind. I am forever thankful for healing and peace and quiet in my mind. Thankful that God has the perfect home waiting for us. We just have to be patient. Thankful for a weekend coming up.
