Easter

Day 1,611

     Thankful for a lovely Easter. Thankful for Easter baskets and candy. Thankful for time with family. Thankful for a lovely Easter meal. Thankful that I got to see all my favorite people today. Thankful for an Easter play performed by sweet little ones. Thankful for coconut cake. Thankful for an Easter egg hunt. Thankful for little ones running barefoot through the grass. Thankful for God's blessings. 

Time with the people that I love.

Day 1,610

     I'm thankful for two things today: 

1. Time with my friend, Heidi. We got coffee and went shopping at Wegman's. It was so good to talk to my friend and spend time with her. 

2. Time with my husband and my babies. We spent the late afternoon and evening outside around our fire pit. We roasted hot dogs and made smores. I drank wine. We listened to music. We marveled at the beauty of our home in the wild woods. 

     Thankful for time with people that I love. 

Raptor Hill Falconry

Day 1,609

     Today was incredible. Matt took me on a really cool date. For Christmas, he got me a raptor experience, because I'm obsessed with hawks. So today, Matt and I got to leave in the early afternoon and go get lunch together before we arrived at Raptor Hill Falconry. I got to learn about all kinds of raptors. I got to see falcons up close and have one fly to my arm and land there. It was truly an awesome experience. The falcon was amazing. The owl was just as amazing. I was in awe of their beauty. 

     Thankful for my husband who chooses to bless me in incredible ways. He makes my life full and good and lovely and wonderful. Thankful for our special time together yesterday. Thankful that we love to just be together. Thankful for hawks and falcons and owls. They make me so happy. 

A day to be cozy together.

      Today was a good day. We had a play date with all the cousins. We had a lovely lunch of pasta, salad, and bread. We went on a brisk, windy walk. We sat around and talked for a long time. It was so good to get together with family today. I love having all my favorite people all together at the same time.

     Thankful for time with family. Thankful for seven little people named: Casey, Adelyn, Tobin, Sophia, Ryker, Odette, and Oliver. Thankful for Cheyenne and Patty. Thankful for yummy food, for lots of free time, and a cold, blustery day to be cozy together.
