Thankful for: 

A lovely birthday. 

Lunch from Panera. 

It was the perfect weather day. It was cool, cloudy, and rainy. 

Lovely gifts from Matt and the kids.

A relaxing day. 

Corned beef and cabbage for dinner. 

Irish soda bread. 

Guinness Blond to drink with my meal. 

The most beautiful cake and delicious ice cream. 

Words of love from all my favorite people. 

Three more days off with the loves of my life. 

One of my gifts is a Yonanas machine. I can't wait to try it out tomorrow.

Thankful for: 

A lovely day at home. 

Time with all the loves of my life. 

I walked four miles this morning. 

Tobin, Matt, and I watched The Ten Commandments. 

Soup. 

I love days when Matt is home. 

Adelyn asked me if Matt was home on the way home from school today. When I said yes, she said, "Yes! I love days when Dad is home." She told me that she feels safe and cozy when he's home. She referenced a day when we had to go to the basement because of a bad storm. She said if her dad wasn't home that day that she would have been really scared, but because he was home, she wasn't scared. I love that she feels safe with her dad. It made me really proud of Matt. She also said, "You hit the jackpot with Dad, Mom. He's the best husband and dad ever." I could not. agree. more. We all hit the jackpot with Matt.

Thankful for: 

Time at home with all the loves of my life. 

Patty, Sophia, and Odette stopped by for about an hour on their way to pick up Casey from school today. They were able to have lunch with us. I made homemade pizzas. 

Long walks in my neighborhood. 

Flowers blooming.

The greens and grays of the forest. 

A great Monday.

A lovely day spent doing whatever we wanted to do. 

A nice walk in the morning. 

Matt and I cleaned out the garage.

I did some school work. 

Matt gave me two early birthday gifts.

A whole week left to be off and home with the loves of my life.

A lovely day with family. 

A day to celebrate Cheyenne's birthday. I'm really thankful for the gift of Cheyenne in my life. She's a beautiful, strong woman, and I'm thankful I get to call her my sister. 

Delicious food. 

A glorious day outside; warm sun with a cold breeze. 

Cousins having fun together. 

Higbee and Hank running and playing in the yard together.

Easter break. 

We watched church together today for Palm Sunday and took communion together.

A wonderful Saturday with family. 

We cleaned our house this morning. 

We went to see Patty and Armando's new house. 

We picked up Adelyn from a friend's house. 

We came home and had chicken fajitas for dinner. 

We all watched Avatar 2 together as a family. 

We had popcorn while we watched it. 

It was the best Saturday together!
