It was a good day. I lit all the candles. I drank a big cup of coffee on the couch while I watched a show. I made it a cozy day even though it's the middle of summer. 

I got to work from home today. 

I took a long walk with Matt and Higbee. 

We ate easy meals. 

I talked with Matt's mom a bit. 

Higbee was quiet and cuddly. 

Matt and spent some time kissing. 

Addy and Tobin went swimming with Patty's family. 

A fresh, new day tomorrow.

Thankful for: 

A fun day! 

We went to an Aquarium. It was awesome! 

We went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious. 

We drive a loop in the Great Smoky Mountains and saw a bear! 

We saw beautiful things today: waterfalls, big rocks, creeks, trees, old homesteads, and wide open sky. 

We came home and relaxed with some snacks and a movie. We watched Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring. 

We had pizza for dinner and ice cream for dessert. 

It was such a wonderful vacation! 

I'm excited to go home tomorrow. 

I can't wait to be in my home, see Higbee, and my family.

A fun day at Dollywood. 

We are 3 loaves of the famous cinnamon bread. It was so so good. 

I got a new hat, and I love it so much! It's a cowgirl hat. 

There were lots of shops and things to look at.

We watched Annie and The Peanut Butter Falcon and ate snacks at home.

A new haircut. 

Panera for lunch. 

I choked on my sandwich while I was driving. It was pretty bad. It got so bad that I put the car in park in the middle of 29, got out, and asked people to help me. I was able to get a deep breath as soon as two people got out to help me. I'm so thankful God helped me and I was able to get a breath. It was scary. Thankful for air and breath in my lungs. 

An easy dinner.

     It was a great first Monday of summer. I spent this day relaxing, cleaning, and cooking. I cleaned the whole house except for my bedroom and bathroom. I made street tacos for dinner, and I also spent time relaxing and being quiet. Patty and Armando took the kids to the pool so I had lots of time to myself today which I was so thankful for. I'm also thankful for where I live. It's beautiful. It was even more beautiful today because it was cloudy and overcast. I love it when it's cloudy in the forest. It's just so very cozy. I'm thankful for birds, deer, and foxes. I'm thankful for my family. For hugs and kisses that I surely don't deserve. I'm thankful for the great, big love of my family which is greater and more magnificent a gift that I ever could have imagined for myself.

     It was a good day! It was quiet and relaxing and just what I needed. I made bacon cheeseburgers for dinner, with smashed potatoes, corn on the cob, and watermelon. It was such a good dinner. I'm very thankful for time to be quiet, time to be still, and time to cook and eat good food as a family. I'm very much looking forward to this summer, time with my family, and time to rest.
