Day 2,943
Thankful for:
The first day of December.
The first day of advent. Each year, we each write 6 things to do to celebrate the season of Christmas and we put them in envelopes. Each night at dinner, we pull an item from an envelope. We have an envelope for short/quick ways to celebrate for busy weeknights, and we have an envelope for long/more elaborate ways to celebrate on weekends. Tonight's advent was: pick a charity together as a family and donate $50 to that charity. We have a fundraiser going on at school to benefit a family facing medical challenges. The school board is going to match whatever is raised for that family. We decided to donate our $50 to that family.
I got to grocery shopping this morning with my friend, Heidi. We went to Trader Joe's and Wegman's. We had vegetarian eggrolls for breakfast. It was delicious, and the time with my friend was good.
Coming home to the best home and family in the world.
Time to relax with at home.
Home clothes.
A nice nap on the couch. Matt and Tobin covered me with a blanket when I was sleeping. It's good to be loved.
An evening walk with Higbee.
Chicken fajitas and rice for dinner.
Little treats and delicious things to eat from Trader Joe's.
A fresh, new week starting tomorrow.
The way December feels in your mouth when you say it.
I found gifts for my Secret Santa for our family Christmas celebration.
Baby Remy coming soon.
The way our house is all glowy and beautiful this time of year.
A big cup of hot chocolate.
An exciting Thursday coming up.
