Day 2,950
Thankful for:
Grocery shopping with Tobin in the morning. I miss shopping with my kids. We saw a little girl crying and crying in the store. Her mom wasn't helping her much, so I offered her some magnets to play with. The mom refused and said she couldn't be rewarded for being rude. I felt so bad for that little girl and that mom because now I know that crying and refusal to listen doesn't mean the child is being rude. I think that little one was overstimulated. I'm thankful to know what I know now. Tobin was embarrassed until another woman said that what I did was a nice gesture, and she felt bad for the little girl too.
A long walk with Higbee, Matt, and Tobin.
Deer eating outside our window.
Birds. Especially the pileated woodpecker. It makes a funny noise.
The forest in the winter.
Moss on trees.
Chili for dinner.
Our Advent today was to get coffee and listen to music in the car together. I got a warm vanilla cream, and Matt and the kids got caramel frappuccinos.
Cuddly Higbee.
A cute squirrel in a tree making funny noises.
Our house all warm and lit up for Christmas.
