Pink Snow

Day 202

It rained today.

It was windy when it rained, and all the flower petals blowing around looked like pink snow.

I wasn't afraid of the storm like I might have been in the past. Instead, I stood at the window and watched it. It was quite lovely.

I got to hold baby Odette after school.

Adelyn told me that Odette's umbilical cord, "yucked her out."

Tobin used to call his belly button his, "bunny button." We talked a lot about belly buttons in the car on the way home from Patty's.

I love fresh cucumbers. I like to eat them like I would a banana.

My husband waits up for me when I go out at night. And then he wants to cuddle with me.

Tomorrow is Friday.
