Wide open spaces of grass and sky.

Day 236

I had to drive an hour each way for our field trip today, and those two drives were glorious. The sky was cloudy and gray. The mountains were extremely green. The clouds were coming down the side of the mountain, and the wide open spaces of grass and sky were simply lovely. It made me so thankful for eyes.

There were wildflowers everywhere.

We had a great field trip.

My family was happy to see me when I got home.

It's almost Friday.

I am so excited for this long weekend.

My friend spent her precious time this evening taking me to Costco so I could purchase all the things I need for the mother-son dance.

Thankful for this fine day.
