Thankful for:
Deer looking for food in the early morning. I love their big eyes and ears. They also have really cute noses. They're very hungry. I saw them eating holly bushes which they never eat. I think I will get some corn to put down in the forest so they have something to eat in this bitter cold.
I left an orange on my bird feeder today. I hope my birds enjoyed it.
A cold day.
Snow on the ground.
It's still January.
My friend, Melissa. She gifted me a bag of chocolates today, and it made my day. I think friends and chocolate are the cure for anything.
One hard thing done today. One more hard thing to go.
Odette got to come home with me.
We got fries from Chick Fil A before we picked up Addy from drama practice. It was nice to surprise Addy with some fries.
Odette wanted to get her fox from her vehicle before coming home with me. I love that she loves foxes.
I made it up the driveway. It's somehow getting slicker and more icy. I'm thankful every time I make it up.
Matt helped with the dishes from dinner.
Visits from old students. I have two students that come to me for Vaseline for their chapped lips. I love that I still get to take care of them.
The feeling of being at home with all the loves of my life.
Tobin came downstairs to warm up his warmie before bed. As I watched him walk back upstairs with his stuffed animal, I caught sight of Tobin the little boy for just a brief moment.
Everybody Loves Raymond. It's good to laugh at a comforting show.
Time to sleep all night.
A three day weekend ahead.
I got to see baby Alaina today. I love to watch her explore something with her tiny hands.
Tomorrow is Friday.
