Day 2,984
Thankful for:
A two hour delay.
Driving to work with Patty.
Starbucks to start the 2025 part of the school year off right.
Patty, Odette, and I have a tradition. Whenever we see the radio tower that stands right by our school off in the distance as we are driving into work, we shout out, "Land ho!" We always hear each other shout "Land ho!" because we are always on the phone with each other in the morning. Patty and I also say, "It's so much more friendly with two." That's why we talk in the morning. It feels better to do something with someone than do it alone.
A good day at work.
Friends at work.
Sweet students.
A bagel for lunch. It was delicious.
Grocery shopping with Odette. She picked out two things to purchase: a chocolate donut with chocolate icing and rainbow sprinkles, and a container of Parmesan cheese. She said her house is out of that cheese, and she loves it. I had to buy it for her.
Driving home with Patty and Odette. Odette talks the whole time, and it makes me smile.
An easy dinner. I had cereal. Matt and the kids had ravioli. I love easy dinner nights. I also love huge dinners and dinners that take a long time to prepare. But sometimes an easy dinner night on a Monday is just the ticket.
A clean kitchen.
Higbee. He loves us so much.
Crunchy snow.
The full moon and Mars.
Time to sleep all night.
Hugs from Adelyn and Tobin. I get to be their mom.
Matt took Addy to the store for things she needed tonight. I'm so glad he did. I felt too tired to go.
Tobin came out to help us in with groceries and all our bags when he heard us come home.
