     My grandfather died tonight. It was a hard night.

     But there is much to be thankful for:

-Family

-Prayer

-Tears

-Laughter even when it's heavy.

-Memories.

-Smiles from strangers.

-Night drives with Patty.

-Patty.

-My parents.

-My grandma.

-My uncles.

-My cousin and his wife.

-My grandpa.

     Thankful for the best snow day ever! Thankful for hot chocolates. For sledding hills. For snowboards. For snowballs. For pink cheeks. For movies. For baths in the afternoon. For time with my husband. For good food. For wrestling matches. For Higbee. For time away from work and timelines and papers. Thankful for this space to write everyday. Thankful for Christmas coming soon. Thankful for Mondays spent at home. It's a real treat.

Sundays spent well.

     Thankful for a great Sunday. We spent the morning at home tidying up and cleaning. Then we went to Patty's house. We relaxed and watched Road to Avonlea. It's a show that Patty and I used to watch when we were kids, and it was a lovely and wonderful trip down memory lane. Thankful for time with my parents. Thankful for Sundays spent well.

     Thankful for a relaxing day at home. Thankful for cold air. Thankful for hunting trips. Tobin and my dad went hunting today. They didn't get anything, but it was a special day for Tobin. Thankful for cold air. Thankful for winter sunsets. Thankful for beef stew made with lots of red wine. Thankful for a good Saturday.
