Thankful for: 

A good day at work. 

Days when I think my hair looks pretty. 

Matt went to the store this morning on his way home from work and picked up sandwich baggies for me. 

The light in the winter looks lovely. 

The sky is always the best shades of blue, pink, and purple all mixed together. 

The air was very cold today. 

We had chicken fajitas for dinner and it was delicious. 

I have leftovers for lunch for tomorrow. 

Matt, Addy, Tobin, and I wrote down what we wanted to do for advent this year. We each wrote down 6 different things of ways to celebrate Christmas this year. I'm very excited to see what everyone picked. We start on December 1st. 

Time to sleep all night in a warm comfortable bed. 

So many lovely and wonderful things to be grateful for. I truly don't deserve so many blessings.

We took Higbee to meet Tilly and Mook today. Hank was there too. It went well. 

Coming home and having a really relaxing day. 

I watched, "It's a Wonderful Life," "Meet Me in St. Louis," and "The Family Stone." 

I finished crocheting a blanket for Patty today. I started it as her birthday present years ago. I'm glad I finally finished it. I'm excited to give it to her tomorrow. 

Matt. I love his kisses, cuddles, hugs, and sweet touches. I'm thankful to call him mine. 

The last Thanksgiving leftover meal.

Today was the last day of work. Thanksgiving break started tonight. 

I got to go grocery shopping for Thanksgiving with Tobin today. It was really fun. The good thing about going tonight is that now I don't have to go out again to the store the whole break.

I went walking with Higbee and let him lead me wherever he wanted to go. He had a grand time sniffing all the things he wanted to sniff.

Thankful for: 

Today was the last day of Addy's play. It was a very busy season, and I'm glad she will have a rest from it for a while. She did an amazing job! 

I got to pick up my grandma today and spend some time with her. 

After the play, my dad got us sandwiches, chips, and pies at the country store. It was a really nice treat. 

Addy went to a play at Fresta Valley tonight to visit some old friends. 

I am so ready to sleep tonight and sleep in tomorrow morning. All I can think about lately is sleeping.

I went grocery shopping this morning for delicious food. 

We spent the day cleaning, putting Halloween decorations away, and putting Christmas decorations up. It looks lovely in our home.

There are only 7 days until Thanksgiving break.

     Matt and I are celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary today. Our marriage is now officially an adult. We've learned so much together in our 18 years of marriage, but this morning, I realized something. Eighteen year old kids are idiots. They're immature, they make bad decisions, they're cocky. They think they know everything when in fact, they know nothing. Here I am thinking Matt and I are in an amazing sweet spot in our marriage, but we might in fact be idiots, immature, bad decision making, cocky, know-it-alls. 

     If we're feeling good now at 18 years, I can't even imagine what new things we'll discover together over the coming years. I can't imagine how much deeper our love will be. I can't imagine what new levels of intimacy we'll reach. I can't imagine how it can get much better than it is now, but like I said...we're just 18 year old idiots. What do we know? 

     So thankful for the love of my life. I'm proud of our 18 years.
