Sophia's birthday and the last day of 2020.

December 31, 2020
Day 1,517

Thankful for a lovely day. It was a cloudy, gray day outside, but a warm, cozy day inside. I crocheted. I watched Friends. I cuddled with Matt in our bed. I played with Adelyn and Tobin. I made bread for Sophia's birthday. We had a fun birthday party for Phia. We had delicious food, delicious cake, and delicious ice cream. We told Sophia why we loved her. It was a lovely party. It was a lovely day. It was a lovely last day of 2020. It was a hard and different year, but there was also of lot of very good things that happened this year. I got to spend more time at home and with my family than I ever have since I went back to work. We got to have more regular dinners as a family than in any other previous years. Adelyn turned 10. Tobin turned 8. Higbee turned 5. Matt and I are more in love now than we ever have been. We went to the beach for two weeks. We went to Disney World and Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Baby Oliver was born. We had the best Christmas. When I look back over this year, I can't feel anything but thankful and blessed and grateful.

This life is amazing; I don't deserve it.
