Thankful for: 

Today is Shane and Casey's birthday. Shane is 30, and Casey is 13. I can't wait to celebrate them this weekend. 

It was a good day at school. 

The sweetest daughter and son ever.

Addy and Tobin played outside today until it was dark. 

We had delicious bowls of "Sanderson Surprise" for dinner.

Thankful for: 

A new, fresh Monday. 

Two fun days planned with my students. 

Dinner is already prepared for tonight. 

I made a meal for a co-worker who is moving. It always feels nice to something kind for someone else. 

A very, very early bedtime. I was in my bed before 7 tonight. 

The best family ever.

Thankful for: 

A lovely Sunday. 

I made homemade bagels today. They turned out okay. I'm excited to try it again. 

The kids got to go bowling. 

I got to go shopping and buy all the healthy, delicious food we needed.

The forest is minty green right now. It doesn't usually turn minty green until March. I'm sad winter is going away. 

I made dinner tonight for a friend. 

Tomorrow is a new week. 

Tomorrow starts a new health and wellness journey for me. I'm excited to eat healthy, work out, and become a better version of me over the next 100 days. 100 is a good number for me. 

My hair is getting long, and I love it. 

Matt is the best husband. He did laundry today, he vacuumed, and he put away all the dishes when I went grocery shopping. 

The King of Queens. I know it sounds silly to be thankful for a tv show, but it makes me laugh and it's comfortable. 

This is a fun week at school coming up.

Thankful for: 

This day was so, so wonderful. 

It was cold, gray, rainy, and snowy. 

I took two naps today. 

There was lots of cuddling today. 

Higbee was extra cuddly today. 

Adelyn got to go have a girls day with her friends. 

Matt, Tobin, and I played Uno. 

I had chicken soup for lunch before my first nap on the couch. 

I made bacon turkey chili. 

I made cornbread muffins. 

I had a big bowl of ice cream before my second nap on the couch. 

I crocheted. 

I watched a lot of The King of Queens. 

It was the very best day. I am so thankful for a day to relax, be still, quiet, and rest.

A day called Friday. 

Cold, windy air. 

The knowledge that it will be very cold tomorrow. 

I'm trying a new baking project this weekend: bagels! I'm very excited! 

Time to celebrate my nephew and my brother this weekend. They are both born on February 28th. Casey is turning 13, and Shane is turning 30. 

Coming home to my sweet husband after school today. 

Panera for dinner. 

Ice cream for dessert. 

It was a very exciting day! I got great news today!

A long bath followed by a long shower. 

Time to lay in bed and watch The King of Queens.

Thankful for: 

A lovely day off at home with all the loves of my life. 

Adelyn is feeling better. 

Matt and I cleaned the house today. 

I disinfected the whole house. I just have Adelyn's room left to disinfect tomorrow. 

Matt. He loves me so much that he hugs me and kisses me even when I don't feel good. He hugged me and slept in the same bed with me even when I had covid. I don't deserve such fierce love. I love the feeling of safe and secure I feel when I'm with him. And I love knowing that Matt is with me until the very end. There is absolutely ZERO chance of him ever leaving me. 

A nice walk with Higbee and Matt. 

An easy leftover dinner tonight. 

Matt and I watched a movie together before bed. 

The house is clean so tomorrow I can relax, do some school work, and crochet.

When I left for school, Adelyn was sleeping peacefully. She was up sick all night. I am so thankful she was finally able to rest and sleep.
