Matt's 43rd birthday!

Thankful for: 

The best day ever! 

Today was Matt's 43rd birthday! 

Matt and I both took the day off to spend together. 

We went to breakfast at Weird Doughs and had bagel sandwiches. 

Then we went bowling. 

After that, we went to Cabela's to pick out a new sweatshirt, shirt, and sweatpants for Matt. 

After that, we went to Nothing Bundt Cakes. 

I made fried chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, and biscuits for Matt's birthday dinner. 

I made a chocolate chip cheesecake for Matt's birthday cake. 

It was the best day! 

First day of 10th grade and 7th grade.

Thankful for: 

The first day of school for Adelyn and Tobin. Addy started 10th grade, and Tobin started 7th grade. 

Tomorrow is Matt's birthday. 

A very productive day. 

School is starting soon. I'm excited for it. 

My mom and Patty have offered to help me get my house ready for Matt's party. I'm thankful for their help. 

A cheesecake and cookie bars cooling for Matt's birthday tomorrow. 

Matt and I both have the day off together. 

A fun gift for Matt. 

Time to relax and watch a show.

Thankful for: 

Time with Tobin. 

A haircut with Tobin. 

Tomorrow is the first day of 10th grade for Adelyn and 7th grade for Tobin. That's weird to write. It's bittersweet to watch my babies grow. I want them to grow up and have beautiful lives, but I so miss holding them close and rocking them and playing with them. I would give anything to hold them as babies once more. 

Matt's birthday is coming up soon. 

Higbee's sweet face. I love the way he looks at me. I love how happy he is when I come home. 

An easy dinner. 

New shampoo. I don't know why, but new shampoo makes me really happy. 

A card in the mail from my friend Heidi. 

A really nice phone conversation with my friend Melissa. 

Plans to hang out with Patty this weekend. 

My mom, my dad, Patty, Armando, Mario, and Matt's mom are all bringing food for Matt's party. 

A good appointment today. 

Hot tea with honey. 

Schitt's Creek. It's hilarious.

Today is my dad's 66th birthday. 

A great workout. 

Cool weather. 

A cloudy, misty day. Greens and grays make me so happy. 

A quiet day at work. I'm checking things off my list. 

Hot soup for lunch. I love soup. 

Coming home to the best family. 

Higbee wanted to go with us so badly to Patty and Armando's. We had to let him come with us. He had a nice time. 

Delicious food. 

A wonderful cake and ice cream. 

Getting to hold Remy and Aidan. 

Getting to play with Oliver, Aidan, and Remy. 

Time to celebrate my dad.
