Thankful for my children. Thankful for their eyes. For the way they love each other. For the way they are always playing. Thankful for the way that Adelyn takes care of Tobin, and for the way that Tobin depends on Adelyn. Thankful for their friendship. Thankful that I get to be their mother. Thankful that I get to wake them up each morning. Thankful that I get to kiss them goodnight before bed. Thankful for the time we get to spend together. Thankful for the way they make me laugh. I don't deserve them; they are a gift. Freely given by a God who loves me.
