Christmas Day: part two

Thankful for: 

Christmas Day: part two. Matt worked 24 hours on Christmas Day, so we celebrated today. 

Matt got me a new camera! I'm really happy and excited about it. 

We had a yummy breakfast of French toast and sausage. 

We relaxed all day long. 

I napped on the couch. 

Our kids relaxed and played with new things. 

Days when we don't leave the house at all. 

My family, our home, and our lives together. All of it is in a word: perfect.

Christmas. 

A quiet morning with my babies. 

Sweet texts from Matt. 

Opening two awesome gifts from Matt: watermelon jolly ranchers and manuka honey lollypops. 

The kids were relaxing in their new hangout today: the basement. 

Cookies and coffee for breakfast and it's okay because it's Christmas. 

A delicious dinner with my family. 

Opening gifts with my family. 

Awesome presents. 

Time with people who love me. 

Karaoke time. 

Watching a Christmas movie together. 

Watching Impractical Jokers today. I love to laugh with my family. 

Cleaning the entire house after everyone left tonight. I like to wake up to a clean home. 

Tomorrow we are celebrating Christmas as a family. I'm excited to be home and relax tomorrow.

     Thankful for: 

A haircut. 

Spending the day with my mom and dad. 

Going out for a delicious meal with my parents. 

Being treated to dinner and dessert. 

Shopping with my mom. 

Listening to music with my mom. 

Shopping for things for people I love. 

Coming home to the best family. 

Higbee cuddling in bed with me. It's very rare that he wants to cuddle, so I soak it in when he does. 

Lots more days off with the loves of my life.

     Thankful for the best day with my sweet, sweet family. Matt and I worked on our big Christmas present for our kids all morning, and we got it pretty much finished. Then, we took our kids to Winterfest at King's Dominion. It was the best day. I'm so in love with Matt, and our kids, and our absolutely perfect life. I don't deserve such perfection and happiness. I'm just thankful God chooses to bless us.
