Adelyn turned 14 today. It feels like just yesterday that I saw her for the first time. I will never forget the moment I first saw her. It was amazing and magical. It was like time stood still.
Adelyn is everything good and lovely and beautiful and wonderful and amazing. She has been and will always be my lighthouse.
It's nice to just be near her.
The sound of her singing a song gives me goosebumps.
Her eyes are the most beautiful blue I've ever seen.
She's one of the best people I know in the whole world, and I get to call her mine.
I don't deserve her.
Thankful for Adelyn Bailey Sanderson. Today and every single day.
We gave Adelyn lots of books, some Taylor Swift merch, "potions" aka skincare, and a big mirror for her room.
We had corned beef and cabbage, bread, and cheesecake.
It was a good day!
