This day, 22 years ago, Matt and I became an us. 

We've been together 22 years. 

We got together when we were both 17. 

So, the time I spent without Matt in my life was 17 years. 

The time I have spent with Matt in my life is 22 years. 

I've spent more of my life with Matt in it than without him. 

That's a comforting thought. 

You know those couples who talk about how no one has even been more in love than they are...

Those couples don't know how much Matt loves me.
