Day 1,337
Today was wonderful.
1. I took the kids to a lavender farm: Lavender and Lace. We had a lovely time. We were the only ones there. We smelled lavender, searched for dragons, and bought some lovely items in the lavender shop: local honey and culinary lavender. Adelyn bought a lavender stress ball with her own money. She brought her wallet.
2. When we left the farm, we went to Moo Thru. It was delightful on such a hot day. I got sweet cream in a cup, Adelyn got vanilla on a cone, and Tobin got mint chocolate chip on a cone. It was messy and sticky, but good.
3. Then we came home and relaxed and had lunch; eggs. Addy likes hers fried. Tobin likes egg white omlettes. I had a western style omlet with salsa and a bit of cheddar cheese.
4. Then we walked Higbee. We saw the mother deer and her fawn nursing in the woods today.
5. We cleaned the house.
6. We danced.
7. We watched swing dancing videos. Addy and Tobin got all dressed up and danced a lot.
8. We had tacos for dinner.
9. The kids said it was the best day ever.
10. I agree. Any day spent with them is the best day ever.
Thankful. Oh so very thankful for two beautiful people named Adelyn and Tobin.
