Day 1,706
Thankful for a lovely day spent entirely at home. I love days spent at home. Thankful for oatmeal for breakfast, Sanderson surprise for lunch, and tacos for dinner. Thankful for a good, long walk. Thankful for kids outside playing in bare feet, catching fireflies and watching bats. Thankful for an afternoon movie. Thankful for a tea party for the girls. I was Mrs. Magillacutty, and Patty was Mrs. Bumblepatch. Mrs. Bumblepatch was always doing something wrong and we were laughing hard about it. Thankful for sun-kissed cheeks. Thankful for sweet, sweet summertime. It's so good. I wish it never had to end. Thankful for texts from Matt. He makes me blush even after 21 years together. Thankful that he will be home tomorrow. I love the days when everyone is home. Home is the best place in the world.
Today was good. I'm glad and thankful for that.
