$2.00 was worth it. Double Rainbow. Best show on earth.

Project 365 * 4
Day 529

This was an amazing day. It was raining this morning, so we decided to go to an aquarium. We all loved it. Especially the sharks, the sting rays, and the otters. The otter is an Otterstedt family favorite. For obvious reasons. But also for these reasons: 1. Otters have a special pocket in which they store their favorite rock. 2. Otters hold hands when they sleep so they don't drift away from each other. I mean, really. How can you not love an otter. Or an Otterstedt, for that matter?

When we were leaving the aquarium, we spotted a hurricane simulator. AJ and Casey did it first. Then Matt and Adelyn. Of course, the kids thought it was super cool. After Matt and Addy got out, a man walked by with his family, and made this comment: "$2.00 to have a bunch of wind blow on your face...not worth it." I'm sorry sir, but yes. Yes a million times. Yes. It was worth it. We are on vacation. And $2.00 to have wind blow on your face is worth it.

There was a double rainbow tonight. And an incredible sunset. It was the kind of sunset that made you happy to be alive. And the fact that I was able to watch it with my favorite people made it that much better.

Thankful for trips to the aquarium. Thankful for sharks, sting rays, and otters. Thankful for $2.00 hurricane simulators. They're worth it. Thankful for double rainbows. Thankful for sunsets. Thankful to be alive and at the beach with all my great loves.
