Day 529
There are several pictures in our beach house with that saying. Near the sea, we forget to count the days. And I have to say, it's the honest truth. Just today, several of us were trying to figure out which day of the week it was. I guess, at the beach, it just really doesn't matter what day it is. Days of the week are low on the list of things to think about. Things that are high on the list? How many towels to bring to the beach. How many from scratch pancakes to make for breakfast. What time we should head to the beach for the day. Is there enough ice in the cooler we keep on the deck. And is it stocked with enough beer for the day.
Thankful for days at the beach. Thankful that at the beach, it's okay to forget what day it is.
