Thankful for a lovely day. Thankful for family. Thankful for babies. Thankful for time to hold the sweetest baby girl. Thankful for laughter. Thankful for a sandy beach. Thankful for the smell of sunblock. Thankful for sandwiches eaten in the sunshine. Thankful for the little plastic turtle that Oliver likes to play with. Thankful for things like watermelon and pickles and macaroni salad. Thankful for lemon bars and chocolate cake and ice cream. Thankful for the way that bare, dirty feet look good on a child. Thankful for paper plates and places to eat outside. Thankful for lots of kids running around and playing together. Thankful for a wonderful Saturday spent with people that I love.
