Day 1,722
I am thankful for a day spent entirely at home with my family. We slept. We watched movies. We ate popcorn. I made chicken soup. We hung pictures. We cleaned up a bit. We lit the candles even though it's just us at home. I like lighting the candles just for us. Matt and I cuddled in bed. There were many declarations of love: I love Matt. He loves me. I love Addy. She loves me. I love Tobin. He loves me. I love Higbee. He loves me.
This day was simple and quiet, but it was good. Thankful to have the gift of my family and our lives together in our beautiful home.
