We had a lazy day around here. We just kind of hung out. Watched movies. Read books. Cuddled. Played. Slept. One of my favorite parts of the day was this: Matt was leaving to run an errand. Before he could leave the house, he hugged and kissed Tobin. He hugged and kissed me. And he hugged, kissed, cuddled, and Eskimo kissed Adelyn. As he was walking out the door, I got this sense of pride. This sense of joy and accomplishment. And I was thankful. Because we are living this sweet little life of ours. And we have kids to hug and kiss before we leave the house.
Thankful for lazy days. Thankful for children to love. Thankful for a warm home to live in. Thankful for everything that is ours. We are so incredibly blessed.
