Wild, wild horses...we'll ride them someday.

Project 365 * 2 -- Day 235

So, when we were talking about our beach trip with Adelyn before we got here, we told her about the wild horses. Her response? "I'm gonna ride them." Well, we didn't get to ride them, but we got the second best thing this afternoon. We came back from the beach to find a few horses grazing directly in front of our house. And within ten minutes or so, we had about ten horses moseying on through our front yard. It was amazing. Beautiful. Peaceful. We watched for a long time until they moved on down the road.

We played in the sand. We walked in the surf. We splashed in the sea foam. We picked shells. We sat on the deck. We swam in our pool. We went for walks. We went exploring. We ate good food. We talked. We laughed. We relaxed.

It was a glorious day. Chilly, but somehow warm. Warm, but somehow chilly. It was the perfect in between. Windy. Sunny. Puffy white beach clouds. It was incredible. And, this day lasted forever. It was perhaps, the longest Sunday I've ever lived. And, I'm just fine with that.

Thankful for this gorgeous and amazing day spent with the ones I love. It was a perfect day. Absolutely perfect.

Gorgeous sunrise!

Early morning walk on the beach.

Early morning play in our front yard.

We came home from the beach to find this.

Oh yeah. This love fest happened in our front yard.
