When the clouds parted, and the sun came out this afternoon, I knew we had to get outside.

Thankful for blue sky. Thankful for fresh air. Thankful for bare trees and the cool air. Thankful for the way a neighborhood smells like dinner come four o'clock. Thankful for birds sitting in trees watching the world. Thankful for wide open places to walk and run. Thankful we could get outside this afternoon. We needed it.
