Today was a rough day. It was one of these days: I bathed Tobin, nursed him, put him to bed. I bathed Adelyn, read books, said prayers, put her to bed. The moment I closed her door, I did a happy dance in the hallway, raised my arms up the sky, and said, "FREE!"
Even though today was rough, there were still sweet moments. Like this one:
I'm thankful that even though there are hard days, there are sweet spots within them. You just have to look for them. Like the moment I captured above with Adelyn and Tobin. Or the moment I had in the hallway when I did my happy dance. Or the moment I'm about to have eating a piece of leftover birthday cake.
Thankful for sweet spots.
