The benefit of staying up all night with a teething baby...?

Project 365 * 2 -- Day 320

The morning after. Tobin was up all night last night. Crying. Fussing. Wanting to be held. Wanting to nurse. He's teething, and it makes him a terrible grump. Morning came way too fast, and I was exhausted. Thankfully, it's Patty's week to drive the kids to school, so all I had to do was get Adelyn dressed and wait for Patty. As soon as Addy got picked up, I was able to cuddle with Tobin. Cuddling in bed with Tobin is not something that happens much anymore. Just because he's so busy. And unless he's in his crib, he thinks it's playtime. But when it does happen, it is the sweetest thing.

Thankful for this morning. Thankful for time to cuddle in bed with Tobin. There is something indescribable about laying in bed with your baby. The peace that surrounds you. The love between you. The feeling that all the worries and stresses of this world are miles and miles away. When I cuddle in bed with Tobin, or Adelyn, or Matt, or Roxy, everything is all better. So, Tobin and I were up all night. No matter. We spent all morning in bed. And everything was all better.
