We had a Christmas brunch with family today. And it was lovely. Even if my Tobin boy was fussing the whole time. He was tired. He has a bunch of molars coming in, and he got up super duper early to watch, The Polar Express, in bed with us this morning. Matt and I really love watching movies at 5:45 am. :/
Brunch, and Christmas presents, and Monsters University made our morning and afternoon full and fun. I especially loved watching Casey and Addy B so excited to see their great-grandparents. They were both standing at the top of the stairs, jumping up and down, shouting, "Gamie and Poppy are here!" In their hands? Indoor "snowballs" they were going to throw at poor Gamie and Poppy as soon as they turned the corner to walk up the stairs. Oh, kids.
Thankful for brunch. Seriously, breakfast food is the best. Thankful for more Christmas celebrations. Thankful for family. Thankful for parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Thankful for sweet little children. Thankful for time spent with those I love dearly.
