We had the perfect snow day. It went like this:
We ate breakfast.
We played in the snow.
We went sledding in the snow.
We built a snowman in the snow. Today's snow was the perfect snowman snow.
Patty, Casey, and Sophia came over.
We had lunch.
We watched, The Polar Express.
We played in the snow some more.
We had hot chocolate.
We watched, Monsters, Inc.
We had dinner.
We went on a walk to look at Christmas lights.
Thankful for an absolutely perfect snow day. Thankful that I spent it with family. Thankful for a beautiful snowy blanket of white. Thankful for all the smiles and laughs while we were playing in the snow. Thankful for cold, red checks to kiss. Thankful for Christmas lights. Thankful for chili for dinner on a cold wintry night. Thankful for a beautiful snowy sunset. Thankful we have warm beds to sleep in tonight. Thankful for a snow day done right.
