Our morning at the tulip farm.

Project 365 * 2 -- Day 123

We went to a tulip farm today. Well, in the Spring, it is a tulip farm. In the Summer, they grow sunflowers. In the fall, pumpkins. I've lived here for almost three years now, and I never knew this place existed. And, it is literally, minutes from our home. We live in the coolest place.

It was seriously, beautiful. Just so beautiful. The kids had an awesome time. Except Tobin. Who thought the tulip farm was the perfect place to nap. We started the morning off right, with a lovely latte from our favorite little coffee shop. Then, we were off to the farm. It was a $1 a flower or bulb. We brought a little shovel to dig up the bulbs, but Adelyn thought it was much more fun to just pick them. Her Dada loves her so much, he paid for her to pick flowers today. She loved it. And, bonus, we picked up a jar of some raw local honey. Made fresh by the bees that live in the tulip field. It was an awesome place, and an awesome morning.

Thankful for tulip fields. They are beyond beautiful. Thankful for all the sweet treats today. Lattes, flowers, and honey. Thankful for this gorgeous day spent with the people I love most. My family.
